The set comprises one smaller inner copper vessel of size 75×50mm (height × diameter) and one outer copper vessel of size 100×75mm (height × diameter). Inner vessel has each of its three legs supported on solid rubber stopper, which thermally insulates its base from the outer vessel.

A copper lid for the outer vessel has a small tubule at the center for mounting thermometer through holed stopper and slit for stirrer. With the smaller vessel placed inside the bigger one, the air gap between their respective walls provides insulation to minimize heat loss. Supplied complete with stirrer but without thermometer.
